Our Story

Born from rhythm, built on purpose.

Jambo Kids Africa started as a small group of children singing and dancing together in their neighborhood — a way to cope, to play, and to be seen. What began informally has grown into a structured program that uses performance as a pathway out of hardship, reaching thousands of viewers online and, more importantly, changing the daily lives of the children involved.

Today the troupe rehearses regularly, performs at community and private events, and shares its work with a global audience — while channeling the support it receives directly back into school fees, meals, and mentorship for its members.

Our Mission

Music and dance as a tool for change.

We believe talent is distributed equally, but opportunity is not. Jambo Kids Africa exists to close that gap for vulnerable children in Rwanda — using the discipline of rehearsal and the dignity of a paid stage to open doors that poverty would otherwise close.

How We Work

Every performance has a purpose beyond the stage.

Rehearse

Children train together weekly, building skill, discipline, and community.

Perform

The troupe performs at events and shares content online, earning fair pay for their work.

Reinvest

Earnings and donations go toward school fees, meals, and continued mentorship.
